Vision Trips

allow pastors and mission leaders to see what God is doing and learn how churches or a network of churches can get involved.

Baltimore
The Baltimore metro area boasts a population of more than 2.7 million people. Yet within this same area, there are only 206 active SBC congregations, leaving just one SBC church to every 12,947 people. In a city with increasingly high rankings in crime, poverty and the spread of diseases like HIV, the need for the gospel is increasing. In an effort to see new works started and existing works supported, NAMB is mobilizing church partners and planters through Send North America: Baltimore.

Covering eight countries, East Asia is home to 1.6 billion people, which amounts to nearly one-fourth of the global population. There are more than 700 people groups in this region, including 525 that are considered unreached. Tibetans make up 6.4 million people in this region of which 96 percent are unreached. East Asia represents an incredibly strategic area for N.C. Baptists to engage in partnership for the spread of the gospel.

South Asia
South Asia represents 1.74 billion people, which equals one-fourth of the world's population. Countries in this region include Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. There are more than 3,300 people groups in this region, and more than 3,000 of them are unreached. That means 96 percent of the entire South Asian population have no gospel witness. Through partnerships, N.C. Baptists can join in what God is doing in this part of the world that is in desperate need of the gospel.
