Every month, we spotlight five free and helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state. In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist for additional helpful resources throughout the month.

1. Revitalize brochure
Is your church in need of revitalization? Sometimes that’s a difficult question for churches to answer. And if the answer is yes, where do you begin? A revised and updated version of the “Revitalize” brochure is now available to help church leaders prayerfully evaluate their ministries and seek God’s direction. Several revitalization models are presented, along with some helpful next steps to consider.

2. Redeeming Social Media: Twitter
Social media can be an effective tool for ministry, but many churches don’t where to begin. Twitter can be used to reach more people with the gospel and to draw more people to church. Through this video, you will learn the ins and outs of Twitter, and you will see how churches can best use this tool to reach the lost for the Lord.

4. Bible Drill leader’s guide
If you want to be a Bible Drill leader, then this guide will help prepare you for the job. Through this guide, learn how to start a Bible Drill ministry in your church to help your youth and children grow in love for the Word of God. This manual will give you the proper procedures to teach, train and conduct the drills, and it will also help you maintain the regional Bible Drill competition standards.

5. The Well Lived Minister’s Life
This document helps to engage pastors in discovering the true depth of God’s calling on their lives. Its goal is to strengthen ministers as they move throughout the seasons of their ministry and to help them care for themselves as they seek to answer God’s call to serve others. Whether during a season of growth or conflict, this resource addresses the needs of ministers in the context of the life of a servant-leader.
