Josh Reed serves as the senior consultant for adult evangelism and discipleship.
At the age of 24, God mercifully saved Josh and his wife, Jacelyn, at the same time, and set them on a journey of knowing Christ and making him known. Josh desires to see every follower of Christ know and enjoy Him and every person who does not know Christ have an opportunity to respond to the gospel.
Prior to joining the convention, Josh helped plant Oaks Church Raleigh, working toward unleashing a disciple-making movement in Raleigh and beyond. Josh’s desire is to "get the gospel to where its not," which has taken him to Asia, Africa, South America and across the street.
Originally from Buford, Ga., Josh graduated from the University of Georgia and was a real estate banker in the Atlanta area for seven years. He earned a masters of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011 with a focus on missions and biblical theology.
Josh and Jacelyn have been married since 2002 and have six kids: Kate, Carter, Hudson, Mollie, Brooks and Elliot. Team Reed lives in North Raleigh and enjoys growing food, watching Dude Perfect and being the gathering spot for the neighborhood children.
