Jonathan Yarboro believes the gospel invades, wreck, and transforms every area of our lives, and because of what the gospel has accomplished in his own life, he identifies most with people who are spiritual outsiders.
As the team leader and strategist for the Collegiate Partnerships Team of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Jonathan is able to help churches engage college campuses and make disciples among those who are often overlooked. He has been a catalyst for innovative strategies that reach students flying under the collegiate-ministry radar like those within community colleges and early college high schools.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and religion and his Master of Divinity with a concentration in Christian education from Campbell University. He and his wife Felicia were married in 1998, and they have one daughter, Katherine.
Jonathan has a knack for quickly identifying the best path from point A to point B, and he can talk all day about organizational leadership and on-campus missionary mobilization.
