4 ways to pray for Blue Ridge

The Strategic Focus Team works with churches in eight population centers and other areas across the state of North Carolina. The highest concentrations of lost people are found in and around the eight population centers, which are the Blue Ridge, Coastal, Fayetteville, Greenville, Metro Charlotte, Triad, Triangle and Unifour regions.

Although disciple-making efforts have made some progress in these areas, prayer is essential for God’s mission to take place. Would you join us in prayer for these eight population centers, lostness in North Carolina and the many baptists working together to reach the people across our state?

The Blue Ridge area is unique in its diversity and beauty. The area is comprised of 240,000 natives, many young retirees and over 25,000 people who have come from multiple countries. Most hold relativism as a primary value, believing  truth is relative and can be obtained from many different faith systems. Here are four ways you can pray.

Pray for:

  • God to raise up Hispanic church planters to reach this growing population.
  • Second generation Eastern Europeans, many of whom have embraced the American dream rather than following Jesus.
  • Pastors to make significant changes to model personal evangelism and discipleship.
  • Healing of church division in order that the world may see our unity as a testimony to the gospel of Christ.
