Top 5 resources for June

by BSCNC Communications

Thursday, May 31, 2018

Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

This month’s resources include highlights on areas such as disciple-making, family, prayer and more.

In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we'll share other helpful resources throughout the month.

Family Summer Guide
Summertime may be every student’s favorite time of year, but for parents, the summer months can disrupt a family’s normal routine and schedule. This Family Summer Guide has been developed by the Faith at Home ministry of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina to help and encourage families to keep disciple-making at home a priority throughout the summer, even when normal routines and schedules are disrupted.

The Well-lived Minister's Life
Without question, one of the most important factors in sustaining healthy churches is to develop, care for and sustain pastors that are healthy spiritually, emotionally, socially and professionally. This serves the church and the pastor in the calling to help build the Kingdom of God in their place and in their time. Our hope is to engage our pastors (and other staff) at various levels and seasons of their ministries, from the call process, through preparation for congregational service, and throughout their active ministry years. Use this guide to grow deeper in your devotion as you minister to others.
