Top 5 resources for May
Tuesday, May 1, 2018
Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.
This month’s resources include highlights on areas such as disciple-making, prayer, evangelism and more.
In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we'll share other helpful resources throughout the month.
Disciple-making at Home
Parents want to provide the very best of everything for their children. Whether with academics, athletics, musical instruction, or whatever the avenue, we desire the best for our kids. But how often do we ask if we are providing the best spiritual foundation for our children? Use this booklet geared toward families to aid you in your efforts of making disciples in the home.

30 Days | 30 Peoples
Use this prayer guide to intentionally consider some of the unreached people groups (UPG) who have made their homes in North Carolina. Our hope is that as you read the profiles of each of these people groups, you will be moved to pray fervently that believers will take the gospel to them.

Faith at Home: Equipping Families to Make Disciples
The church and the home have the potential to be the most viable and influential institutions for discipling kids when both work together as a team. The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina’s Faith at Home Ministry desires to see parents in every congregation be the primary disciple-makers of their homes. This free downloadable book aims to empower the family to make disciples in the home.

North Carolina’s multifamily housing community is both large and growing. The overwhelming majority of those living in multifamily housing communities — apartments, condos, townhomes and mobile home parks — are unchuched. Therefore, we must develop creative methods take the gospel to them rather than expecting them to come to us. This brochure provides an overview of multifamily housing communities and offers some approaches to multifamily housing ministry. Visit: peoplesnextdoornc.org | Follow: @PNDNC
