The Information Technology Information Systems (IT/IS) staff serves North Carolina Baptists by helping our Convention staff have the best equipment and training for them to fulfill their calling to serve God. Our staff maintains network servers, switches, VPN, NetStreaming, Media Server and phone systems.

We provide associations and churches with Ask Ned, a place for keeping statistical information on churches, leadership and giving. Our staff also helps during registration at the annual meeting. Your messenger cards are printed by IT/IS and when you are in the registration line, we help process the thousands of messenger cards quickly and effectively.

Web-Empowered Church

Technology and the church
The church should view technology as a tool to be used to serve Kingdom purposes. Often the church is the last to adapt to and use technology. Technology can be used in many ways for good. You probably have people in your church with knowledge of technology who could use their knowledge to serve Christ. Why not ask if members of your church are interested in serving in this area?
