Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute is a ministry of the Convention and an agency of the Board of Directors. Rev. David Horton serves as Fruitland president,  managing the affairs of the school under the direction of the Fruitland Directors. Elected by the Convention's Board of Directors, the Fruitland Directors are solely responsible for the operation of the school and report directly to the Board of Directors and, ultimately, to the BSCNC. Fruitland's purpose is to provide Biblical education and training in preparing students for the particular Christian ministries into which they are called, and for whom study in a college or seminary may not be presently appropriate for that particular ministry. Study at Fruitland often encourages students to pursue further education and training in a college and/or seminary.
