Haiti Earthquake Relief
Your NCMO funds were also instrumental in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The images pouring in during the following days and weeks were overwhelming and the number of those in need was mind-boggling. Getting our minds around such devastation is difficult. After all, Haiti is one of the poorest nations in the world — and that was before the earthquake on January 12, 2010. Scott Daughtry, on-site coordinator for the North Carolina Baptist Men, puts into perspective:

Greater Joy Church Plant
The church that Shelton Daniel pastors is in a growth spurt. What started as a tiny church plant in Rocky Mount has grown from 12 members to about 850 members — all in less than 3 years. Pretty amazing. Daniel is grateful for assistance received from the Baptist State Convention and the North Carolina Missions Offering:
