Associational Partnerships is one way the Convention fulfills its purpose of serving alongside local churches. Our office provides training for new and potential associational staff and serves as the demographic liaison for churches and associations.
We also help associations fill staff positions. If you are interested in associational ministry, send us a resume, a one-page document outlining your spiritual calling to be an associational missionary/staff member and a one-page document sharing your philosophy of associational ministry. Please include some thoughts regarding the type of association, such as rural or urban, in which you see your gifts most closely fitting.
Another resource available to your association is Percept Demographics. With Percept you can learn about the demographics of the people in and near your association, and you can use this information to more effectively minister to congregations or to help guide new church starts.
