The Office of Administration and Convention Relations works with the institutions, agencies and the auxiliary (NC Baptist Men) affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The Executive Director-Treasurer serves the leader of the Administration and Convention Relations Group and the Executive Group Leader for Administration and Convention Relations assists him in managing all personnel and projects of this group.

The Administration and Convention Relations Group is responsible for the Baptist State Convention's partnership with the North American Mission Board (NAMB). The BSCNC and NAMB partnership involves shared finances and resources utilized in mobilizing Baptists for ministry by assisting the churches in their divinely appointed mission; promoting missions, evangelism, education, social services, the distribution of the Bible and sound religious literature; and cooperating with the work of the Southern Baptist Convention. BSCNC ministries, such as the Hunger Fund, deaf/literacy missions, youth ministry and evangelism are jointly funded by NAMB and the BSCNC.
