The Story 2014 Regional Evangelism Training Conferences

Each regional conference is from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and includes lunch and conference materials including The Story Guide Leader Kit. This kit contains The Story Guide Primer Edition (Workbook), Leader Notes (Booklet), helpful The Story Resources such as DVD Media Disc (Presentation/Videos), The Story Bible and Access Code to TheStoryTraining.com.

The total cost is $20 per church leader.  Additional guests from your church are welcome to attend for $10 per person and includes lunch and The Story Primer Guide. Join us for any of the events listed below. Click on the registration button to register for a conference near you.

Marty Dupree

Consultant, Adult Evangelism & Discipleship

Marty Dupree has served with the BSCNC since 1999. Prior to coming to the BSCNC, Marty served as senior pastor of Central Baptist Church in Hildebran. He also served as associate pastor for church ministries for First Baptist Church in Waynesville. Marty spent several years as a commercial banker before entering full time vocational ministry. Marty earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial relations/economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and his master of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Garner, NC.

Rick Hughes

Consultant, Adult Evangelism & Discipleship

Rick serves as pastor of the King Cowboy Church in addition to his duties at the BSCNC. Rick is the organizer and coordinator of the Triad Coaching Network, as well as pastor leadership learning communities. He and his wife Kathy are involved in missional groups in the Triad area. Rick is a StrengthFinders coach and has served as a mentor/coach for Golden Gate Theological Seminary and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and mentors Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary students. Since his call into the ministry, he has transitioned one of the oldest churches in North Carolina to become a church for life transformation. He has served as a church planting mentor trainer for the North American Mission Board. Rick attended Wingate College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
