Church Weekday Education

helps meet the needs of parents and children by providing quality care in a Christian environment. Weekday ministries provide a safe, nurturing place for children through parent's morning out, half-day preschool, full-day preschool and before or afterschool care for school-aged children.

The North Carolina Baptist Church Weekday Education Association (NCBCWEA) provides opportunities for networking and quality staff development. Association members are eligible to: receive registration discounts to annual CWE training events approved by the NC Division of Child Development; list their center on this page with a link to the church/center's website or email; participate in the state Teacher of the Year recognition process; and participate in the Church Weekday Education Certification process.

The Church Weekday Education Certification Process assists leaders in evaluating the distinctive qualities of the CWE ministry as it relates to the total church ministry. To participate in this process, a center must be a member of the NCBCWEA.
