Why Church Planting?
About 5.8 million people, more than half the population of North Carolina, are not Christians. More churches are needed to reach the growing population of those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Reaching the unchurched population of North Carolina is going to require a lot more churches. In order to reach the unchurched population of the state, a minimum of 25,815 churches – each averaging 200 in attendance – will need to be planted.
