Bible Drill is for children, youth and high school students in grades 4-12.

The purpose of Bible Drill is to help students and their families:

• Increase knowledge of the Bible
• Develop skills in effectively handling God's Word
• Memorize, in order, the names of the books of the Bible
• Memorize selected verses and key passages
• Learn how to apply the Bible to life

Speakers' Tournament is for high school students in grades 10-12.

The purpose of Speakers' Tournament is to help high school students:

• Develop essential skills in selecting, researching and writing a speech on a specific topic
• Be challenged to express their faith verbally
• To be bold in sharing their faith with their peers

KJV © 1973 and NIV © 1984 are the only accepted versions for 2012 Bible Drills. Holman KJV Drill Bibles are available from LifeWay.com or LifeWay Christian Stores. NIV Worship Bible #172 is available from biblicadirect.com.

Scholarships
In order for a student to proceed to the final state drills and qualify for the scholarship and state title, the student must be from a participating North Carolina Baptist church.

Register As a Bible Drill Church
Once your church decides to participate in Bible Drill, please provide the BSCNC Bible Drill Ministry Coordinator at the Baptist State Convention with the Bible Drill leader's name, address, phone number, email, church and association name. Also, notify your association of your intent to participate in Bible Drills.
