The GuideStone Team of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina exists to serve lay leaders and church employees in the more than 4,000 churches affiliated with the state convention as they make decisions in the following areas of ministry:

Relying heavily on educational venues including personal consultations, phone appointments, group conferences, the internet, etc. the GuideStone Team, comprised of team leader, Johnny Ross, and ministry assistant, Betty Pleasant, works closely with GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention to offer wise counsel that is undergirded and empowered by spiritual insight.

We encourage you to take advantage of the many resources identified on this web page to assist in those critical decisions which every church has to make regarding equitable compensation that is legally administered in a world of limited resources for today’s church.  May the Holy Spirit give keen guidance as you follow the Biblical mandate to take care of God’s servants.
