Shirley Sells serves as executive leader assistant for the Church Planting and Missions Partnerships Group. Her past experiences in the business world were in the areas of accounting, banking, cash management, travel management, payroll and experiential education.
Shirley’s passion is to assist churches with demographics so they can use the information to impact lostness. Her strengths, according to Clifton Strengths Finder, are learner, achiever, intellection, deliberative and analytical, and the BSCNC encourages staff to explore their signature themes and potential. She earned her bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) from the Charles M. Snipes School of Business at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory in 2005.
Shirley and her husband, Steve, are members of Triad Cowboy Church in Archdale, which began as a church plant of the Randolph Baptist Association and BSCNC. Steve was a pastor for many years in North Carolina and is director of missions for Randolph Baptist Association. Shirley and Steve have two children and three grandchildren.
