Marcus “Mark” Gray has served as church planting team leader since April 2006. He has served in ministry since 1980 as a church planting team leader, church planting senior consultant, missionary church planter, senior pastor, associate pastor and minister of youth. He is a graduate of Mars Hill University, Asbury Theological Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he holds a master’s degree and is also pursuing his doctorate.
He leads a new Epoch (house) Church in Greensboro, ministering to more than 150 Burmese immigrants and refugees.
Mark has been married for 35 years to Esther, who is a teacher at Doris Henderson School for Newcomers in Greensboro. They have two children: Rebecca (28) and Nathaniel (26), both of Thomasville.
