Kenneth Tan has served with BSCNC since 2006. Before coming to BSCNC, he served as director for recruitment for the church planting group of the North American Mission Board. Prior to NAMB, he served as director of evangelism for the Baptist Convention of New York. Ken has also pastored Bible Church International in Garfield, New Jersey where he was involved in planting several churches in New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts. He also served as interim pastor in Georgia and North Carolina churches, assisting these churches to become intentionally inclusive. Ken has a passion for reaching and discipling all people, and developing indigenous leaders.
Ken earned his bachelor’s degree in Theology at Febias College of the Bible in the Philippines, his master of divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and his doctor of ministry with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Felicia Que Tan, a former pharmacist and science teacher. Ken and Felicia have two children, Felineth Ilen Tan Lee, a senior project manager at McAfee, married to David Lee, an industrial engineer, and Kenneth Andrew Que Tan, a financial reporting manager at the North American Mission Board. Their life goal as a family is to serve the Lord in whatever field that God has placed them.
