Marty Dupree serves on staff at the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina as Team Leader of the Evangelism and Church Growth Team. In this position, Marty works with the team to develop a statewide strategy for maximum effectiveness in the arena of evangelism and church growth through the associations and local churches. He plans and conducts conferences, trainings, and many other events to fulfill his God ordained passion to help the whole church to take the whole gospel to the whole world.

Originally from the Waynesville, NC area, Marty attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Master of Divinity. He is currently working on his dissertation for his Doctorate of Ministry Studies, “Christian Leadership for Evangelism”. He pastored churches for 10 years before his ministry at the Baptist State Convention. Marty and his wife, Angela, have five children, reside in Raleigh and attend First Baptist Church Garner.
