"Did Jesus send you?" the little girl asked. Volunteers replied, "Yes, dear, Jesus certainly did send us!"
In 2009, more than $150,000 will be distributed through the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina to feed thousands of people across the state. You have a part in this ministry as you give to the World Hunger Offering and the North Carolina Hunger Fund. In 2008, North Carolina Baptist churches gave almost $600,000 through the World Hunger Offering and reached around the world to meet physical and spiritual needs.

Pray
Pray for the hunger ministries around the world. Pray that more volunteers will have the opportunity to say, "Yes, Jesus sent me."
Give
Give generously to the World Hunger Offering so that many people will see the face of Jesus and receive food when they are hungry.
Go
Get involved. Contact your church or association to discover local hunger ministries. Schedule a time to work at that ministry, have a food drive, or serve however God leads you.
