Translations used for 2015 are the King James Version (KJV) and the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB).
Each church must use approved Drill Bibles. The Bible version choice must be made before Bible Drill training begins. If leaders register drillers online for regionals, then the church may use both translations. If the leader registers by mail, then only one translation may be used. The approved Bibles listed below are available from LifeWay Christian Resources.
Holman (Holman 2012) Drill Bible (9781433603648)
KJV Drill Bible (9780879816001)
In order for a student to proceed to the final state drills and qualify for the scholarship and state title, the student must be from a participating North Carolina Baptist Church.
Once your church decides to participate in Bible Drill, please register your church below. Also, please notify your association of your intent and register an associational leader. If we do not have a current email address for the associational leader we cannot send information about the children who will be competing in your association's drill. If you participated last year and do not have any information updates, you do not need to register again.
